Here at D M Academy we’re committed to getting your feet pointing, your toes tapping, your pulse racing and also creating exciting dance opportunities for everyone to enjoy. Dance tuition is offered to all ages and abilities - the youngest student is 3 years old and the average age in the "Young at Heart Latin in Line Club" is over 70! Children are prepared for IDTA and RAD theatre dance examinations in addition to participating in local, national and International competitions and performance opportunities. In October 2004 the Performing Arts Club under the title DMA Kidz was launched. In addition to dance this offers children the chance to further develop abilities in the areas of drama and song. We also run our own D M A Associate Ballet programme under the expert guidance of ex - professional ballet dancers Steve Walther and Andy Barker for those children who wish to study more seriously. In addition to all the usual theatre subjects; classical ballet, tap and jazz dance we have HIP HOP and freestyle to keep our children active and healthy. So whether you want to Ballet or Boogie, Tap or Tango, Cheer or Cha Cha let D M Academy get you started. All our staff are fully qualified, CRB checked and trained to the very highest standards.
